Our client has designed a class leading 19" rack cooler. They needed closed-loop control of air and water distribution, failure monitoring and worldwide voltage capability. Working with their in-house engineering team, PiX Electronics helped them to develop a space efficient, failsafe system which is now helping to keep datacentres and server rooms across the globe carbon friendly.
Sanitisation System Control
Many environments require periodic sanitisation in order to avoid cross infection. PiX Electronics worked with their client to develop a configurable microcontroller-based control system for delivery of their antibacterial, antiviral chemical solution. Remote control of the unit negates the need for the user to wear PPE. Applications include vehicles, medical environments and playrooms.
Ventilation System Control
Conventional ventilation systems rely on fans. Controlling their speed and monitoring their performance via sensors is crucial to keep them working continuously and efficiently. PiX Electronics worked with their client to develop a low cost, modular speed control for the latest EC (Electronically Commutated) fans. It provided them with failsafe operation, temperature dependant speed control and integration with building management systems.
